Reverse G-2: Resilience and Adaptation

Our world is an amazing miracle that we, science centers and museums, attempt to explore and showcase to the general public, to engage them and get them invested in global glory, and also global glitches that can take one of endless forms. As fascinating our world is for its glorious nature, it is also often harsh; for both natural and manmade reasons. Science centers and museums do not only communicate the world’s wonders and attempt to get people involved in global issues that could harm these wonders, they themselves often face the world’s wrath. This session will demonstrate two very different stories of resilience and adaptation despite natural and unnatural crisis by science centers and museums from two very different places and two very different realities.
