Developing exhibitions for new Science Centres

Archimedes has worked on a number of exhibitions for brand new science centres in the last couple of years: “Re: generation” at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw and “Human” at the Experyment Science Centre in Gdynia, Poland, “Exploration and Discovery” at the Liaoning Science and Technology Museum, Shenyang, and – only this year – “World of Nature” and “World of Science” at the Science and Technology Centre in Ostrava. The processes in developing these exhibitions and their exhibits were quite different in planning and design and will be compared in the talk. We will also take a look at how successful we deemed the cooperations and what our suggestions would be to other science centres looking to find a commercial partner to build their exhibitions.
