Papers/Presentations

Young Children are Capable & Competent

In 2011, the Children’s Museum Jordan announced a new strategic goal: to enhance the quality of the learning experience for 2-4 year olds and contribute to national capacity in Early Childhood Development (ECD) by scaling up dedicated programs and exhibits by 2014. While the goal was achieved, the journey leading to it included both bumpy roads and smooth detours. In this talk, we will share with you our failures and success in upgrading a dedicated exhibition for 1 to 5 years old, increasing the number of targeted activities and intensifying the team’s training in ECD.
