Science centers face common challenges in audience development, financial sustainability, and maintaining their relevance in the face of changing societal demands and competition. This session will present examples from three centers at completely different stages in their development. One is one of NAMES’ longest standing institutions, another a center operating since 2011, and the third is in development to launch in 2020. The session will showcase the strategic issues each faces, their approach towards growth and development, and their long term ambitions.
