Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research is conducting a yearly summer training program for grade 11 & 12 at schools and for college students in science and engineering since 1976. From that date KISR had trained more than 4000 students from schools and 1250 from universities in Kuwait, the GCC and abroad.

Each year about 120 student from secondary school and 50 college student participate at the program to undergo scientific training programs in science and engineering. To strength the program results, we had started two years ago a program that merge secondary schools students with college students. As college students practical program last for about 6 hours, is intervene by 2 hours to supervise secondary students in labs to guide them to execute their scientific program. This was all under the supervision of KISR researchers.
After the first year we had noticed a great success for this approach, that allow college students to share knowledge in the level to suite secondary school students, prepare lab requirements, schedule the tasks to be accomplishes and to supervise the progress of secondary students.

We aim from this program is to merge both levels in the same program, and to allow college students to acquire supervising skills and to manage and transfer learning to school students.
